Student Choice is Coming to MES & Laliberte in March

During the week of March 10-14, 2nd Graders at Mitchell and Laliberte will be able to choose and vote for their favorite Fun Lunch in the cafeteria during lunch. The winning Fun Lunch will be available on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year.

Vote for either:

  • Hummus Fun Lunch (Hummus, Tortilla Chips, Pretzels and Veggies for Dipping) or

  • Bagel Fun Lunch (Bagel, Pizza Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese)

October Discovery Kitchen

In October, 2024 at the B-R HS, BMS and RMS, students learned the benefits of purchasing locally. Locally sourced produce was displayed at each school in the Cafeteria during lunch as students sampled fresh local Apple Cider from Carlson Orchards in Harvard, MA.

Students also participated in the annual "Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin" contest. 3 winners received the Giant Pumpkin on display.

Did you know that ALL of the apples served at all B-R Schools are locally sourced. We serve over 20 bushels of apples every week with all school meals.

In addition, during the month of October, we featured local produce every week, including Spring Mix and Green Leaf Lettuce in all of our salads, Roasted White Potatoes, delicious Corn on the Cob, and Roasted Butternut Squash.

In May, 2024, students at RMS and BMS got to choose if they wanted the new Hummus Fun Lunch on their menu every day. Students took a sample and decided whether to Love It or Lose It!

A Hummus Fun Lunch includes

  • Traditional Hummus

  • Pretzels and Nacho Scoops

  • Baby Carrots, Celery Sticks or Pepper Slices

At Bridgewater Middle School and Raynham Middle School Students Decided to LOVE IT!

We will add it to RMS/BMS Menus in October 2024.

The B-R HS already serves the Hummus Fun Lunch.
