What is the SEPAC?

The BR Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is a group of parents and guardians of children who are supported or who are seeking special education support in the Bridgewater-Raynham School District. Our SEPAC not only provides a support network for other parents, but a forum for open communication about special education in our district, an opportunity for collaboration with district leadership, and more.

SEPAC Officer Orientation training

Our membership with MassPAC, the statewide organization of member SEPACs, will be holding the 3rd and final SEPAC Officer Orientation training on Thursday, Jan. 29th at 7PM on Zoom.

This training is open to all current MassPAC member SEPAC officers and parents who are interested in future SEPAC leadership roles.

If you are considering running for a board position in the spring or just want to learn more about the leadership roles, this is a great opportunity.

Mission Statement

The mission of the BR-SEPAC is to provide a forum for parents, guardians, family, students, and the Bridgewater-Raynham Special Education Department to share information on special education matters, provide resources, develop and maintain tools and resource guides, and raise awareness of issues related to special education and disability policy.

How can I get involved?

Come to a meeting, attend an event or email us at bridgeraynsepac@gmail.com. We welcome all parents and guardians, as well as teachers and district staff to attend SEPAC meetings and participate in the discussion. Each year we host regular meetings to discuss BR special education and to network with other parents, while also hosting workshops with guest speakers on topics relevant to special education. Check out this page regularly for upcoming meeting and workshop dates!
